Born somewhere in Wavecrest(random island being the single best description), Metal Monkey enlisted in the navy when he came of age. It's not actually his real name, they just gave it to him when they found in him a knack for engineering, and dropped him in the proper training and apprenticeships. He worked his way through the ranks and ended up assigned ship's engineering to one of the Navy's first age vessels, with standard issue Tiger-Shark Armor for when he had to do wet work. Eventually they decided it'd be a good idea to restore one of the old military vessels to working order. Monkey was on the team. It was a great idea. It might have even worked, but for some Captain deciding he wanted to see if what they'd fixed so far worked. He pushed the little red button. The alarms sounded. Sparks flew. The engineers ran(as if they could get far enough away), but Monkey was in the zone. Over the next hour he alternated between keeping the essence engines from overheating and actually finding and eliminating the problem. He exalted in the middle of it all. When the engine finally calmed down, he shut it off, and started laying into the machinery with a heavy wrench, ruining it. Screw the idiot captain if he couldn't take a joke. He'd fix the fleet himself.


About 5'8". Not heavy with muscle, more average build. Short reddish hair due to sun, cut close. Scraggly beard. Oil stain down his right cheek as if it were a scar, sure he could clean it off somehow, but it doesn't really bother him. Hands and arms are reasonably stained by oil from his work.

Upkeep: Maintainence required for every 50 hours of use; every 10 missed hours randomly disables one of the powers marked with an asterisk. Water-breathing always last.

Collapsable Infinitool: Metal Monkey got tired of trying to find that specific wrench or drill he needed to fix some part of the ship and came up with this idea. Attuned can pull out perfect mortal tool of choice. Attachable to back of standard power armors, can be carried around as needed. Exalt must know what tool is needed(conscious or instinctive), thus making tools that the exalt hasn't used or heard of in some level of detail impossible to pull from box. 1 mote to attune.
