About fucking time, no? - Biggus Berrus (talk) 23:07, 8 June 2013 (UTC)

Only took a few years. Too many. --Gufu (talk) 08:44, 9 June 2013 (UTC)

In addition - do we want to try to pre-plan certain mech articles, just so we will not pseudo-copy the entirety of Sarna to 1d4chan? Perhaps even divide which mechs we want to work on individually? --Gufu (talk) 11:01, 9 June 2013 (UTC)

I'd say we put on the important ones on here. I'd like to take a shot at the Adder, Catapult, Mackie and Awesome. Though I do want to suggest that we do not need every single alternate configuration for every BattleMech out there. I know I did so for the Hollander, but that's because I think it makes sense in the context (read: it's not very good) of the Hollander. Doesn't mean that Urbie needs to be stripped of its entries.
Another thing is: I don't really know all that much about BattleTech. Most of my knowledge comes from MechWarrior 3, and I've struggled with getting MW4 to work. I know that there's some Dark Age going on and that the Clans got their asses kicked in the Clan Invasion, but it sort of stops there. Should we order Mechs by relevant eras (because I figure that only few 'Mechs from the Star League era are still in use) and work from recent to old with all the important and famous 'Mechs given priority, or write up whatever we want (and reserving which ones we would like to write in advance)? - Biggus Berrus (talk) 11:21, 9 June 2013 (UTC)
Best Way to sum up the storyline before/during/after the clan invasion is as such:
Kell Wolf's Arrival (prelude and other hilarity) >> Clan Invasion (Shit gets real) >> Great Refusal (Furries Get Confused) >> Steiner-Davion Civil War (RIP Gray Death Legion) >> Blake Jihad (Nuke EVERYTHING!) >> Dark Age (General Clusterfuck).
This about sums up most of the history if we ignore the minor/general static in the background. --Gufu (talk) 01:04, 10 June 2013 (UTC)
