Future Expansion[edit]
I don't like to save a page when I'm not finished with it, but my computer crashed and I lost all the effort I put into it. I'm not making that mistake again, so I've re-done what I can remember and saved it. Here's what's left to do:
- Turn the Illustrated List of Templates into a two-column table (like Help:Editing), with template names and usage notes on the left side and a sample transclusion on the other. Possibly implement Wikipedia's Template:Tl or Template:Tlx to make it easier to create nice-looking examples.
- Create a section or sections on how templates work, what they do, and how to create them and use them effectively (use Wikipedia's Help:Template and this wiki's Help:Link as a guide).

- Its been over a year since your contribution to the talk page (duh) and there is still no how-to on how to make a template. I have made templates through a crude method. Find a template page, copy paste the template, and use very rudimentary knowledge acquired from guesses to tweak it (and a little trial and error). I had trouble adding the Template:Ravnica Guilds (which I made) to the Ravnica page without it looking fucked up. So actual instructions on how to make a good one would be great because I assume some of the templates I made are bad. Or I might not know how to add a template to a page right, or both. And even if they are at least meh, I am sure I could do better if given a guide.--Emerald Claw (talk) 05:05, 1 October 2014 (UTC)
