Kindred of the East was a china-themed supplemental series for World of Darkness, released in 1998 for Goths with a little Jade Fever. It was created as part of White Wolf's "Year of the Lotus", where they released eastern themed add-ons for all of their major products (such as the Hengeyokai supplement for Werewolf, and the Hong Kong and Tokyo supplements for WoD). Needless to say, Chinese vampires are smarter, healthier and better living counterparts of the Kindred, with the possibility of ascendance back into heavens and enjoying human pleasures of life. Also their power level can increase, whereas Kindred are stuck to diablerie to do that sweet 6 dot discipline.
