Binary to not-Fucked conversion[edit]
For those who are looking at the binary going "WTF?" have some Perl code
#!/usr/bin/perl
while(){foreach $b (split(/\s+/)){print pack('B8',$b);}}
__END__
(paste strings of ones and zeros here)

- Can't we maybe just have a translation in the article? It's funny when done within reasonable limits, a whole page of binary is far from being informative, and noone's going to translate it by hand - so there's no reason to have it there. Fatum 20:32, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
The binary isn't my joke, and I'm willing to put up with other people's lameness if it means they'll put up with my lame obsessive dice-pool mathematics. I posted the how-to translate thingy to save someone time if they want to dig into it, and I altered the font to simultaneously look more machine-like, and to make it take up less room (I was gonna flip it to hexidecimal... but more non-techies know that binary is a machine thing). If we want to preserve the original author's joke, we should use something that doesn't show the translation unless prompted... maybe we can use the {{Cg}} template for something that unfolds? --NotBrandX 02:37, 19 June 2010 (UTC)
Binary was copied from the halflife 40k page. Wasn't ment to be a serious history (unless you want to research/BS it).
