Thinking about making rules for them cute furballs. Gonna have to pull out Codex: Astra Militarium for that. - Ben (talk) 19:28, 26 December 2014 (UTC)

OK, so I thought about stats and rules for them for now.

WS3, BS4, S3, T3, W1, I4, A2, LD7

Special Rules: - Outflank - Crusader - Cats' Grace - Cats' Eye

Cats' Grace: Felinids have a Initiative of 4 and apart of their normal Armour Save, the have a 6+ Invulnerable Armour Save in Close Combat thanks to their natural agility. Additionally Felinids gain the Move Through Cover USR.

Cats' Eye: Thanks to their eye's sharp sight and feline anatomy, Felinids gain a +1 to Ballistic Skills (already included in the profile) and the Night Vision USR.

That's for now. I'll come up with equipment later. - Ben (talk) 20:29, 26 December 2014 (UTC)

If you are going to think of full on gear I'd recommend avoiding most armour in favour of cover saves (anything higher than 5+ and the fluff says you're relying on the armour), or you could have heavier armour but lose the Cats' Grace rule since at that point it'll be too heavy to use effectively with the rule. If you're sticking with two attacks each then I'd also recommend limiting use of special weapons, as in pistol and power sword kind of thing, for example if they have two normal weapons they get three basic attacks, if they have a special weapon they only get two attacks, that way you avoid them becoming cheese machines with the right loadout. - Triacom (talk) 20:38, 26 December 2014 (UTC)

I'd go here with good old Flak Armour like the rest of the Guardsmen. In terms of options I'd give them the ability to go either shooty or choppy. But that'll be for tomorrow. Thanks for the tip. - Ben (talk) 20:56, 26 December 2014 (UTC)

Why they are 25% cheaper than a squad of Imperial Guard Veterans but get an additional attack and initiative EACH and have Night Vision, Outflank, and Crusader, along with demi-shield of faith AND have a free squad leader that is almost a Company Commander we do not know. God. Damn. Furfags. - 180.200.159.197, 13:06, 1 January 2015 (UTC)

I do have to agree, you seem to have fallen into the trap of making your faction better than the others without any real downsides to it, I'd recommend either a points overhaul or statline overhaul. - Triacom (talk) 20:03, 1 January 2015 (UTC)

Fixed. All Felinid squads are more expensive by 20 pts. Ben (talk) 17:04, 2 January 2015 (UTC)

There was another pic that could do nicely, called "Felinid Auxilliary" on Deviantart. Can't upload it because I'm at work. It's often posted on the loser's favourite board, /tg/.
