.308 and 7.62x51mm are different .308 has a bit more punch to it. Also, isn't the main gun smoothbore?

M1A1 was the 120mm smoothbore gun the M1IP model oddly has the smoothbore gun on its modelCrimsonfalke (talk) 17:32, 30 December 2019 (UTC)
