Seriously, I'd like to know the origin of the lines as well - does she appear that way in-game, in some official artwork, or in Goto's books, or is it just assume weird fanon? --Bjorn (talk) 22:21, 29 August 2013 (UTC)

She never takes off the helmet in-game, and Goto says nothing about any lines (but he does claim that she's blonde, which is clearly nonsense). I'm rather curious myself.--Newerfag (talk) 22:28, 29 August 2013 (UTC)

Yeah, having read Goto's books (in my defense I was young and had not found the esteemed wiki yet to learn what an Irish leper he was), there is absolutely no mention of any facial markings, so I'm presuming it's a fanon thing that started up with the first images of Macha and later snowballed (much like the virgin thing, in fact.)
