Disaster Area

This thing is seriously a mess. It manages to be criminally underwritten for a subject that routinely occupies about a sixth of /tg/'s board space, but at the same time is way too fucking long. The timeline needs to be cleaned up, and a lot of the threads need to be moved to List of Quest Threads or deleted. I don't mean to come off as the content commissar here but the things we chose to focus on are just bassackwards pants on head wrong. That we have a separate subheading for "Hamburgler Quest" (One thread, -1 Suptg) but don't even mention something like "Magical Girl Noir Quest" (179 Threads, all 20+) should tell you pretty much everything you need to know about our current notability standards. There needs to be more about the culture that grew up around quests (QMs, THE CURSE, /qtg/, hugbox) and more about how each board treats them. I'll work on this when I have time (I'm so deep into the quest rabbit hole I can see fucking wonderland) but if anybody else could help it would be great. --Petro (talk) 02:45, 28 January 2014 (UTC)

Reworking the page as a whole

Hiya! I'm currently working on a restructuring of this page. For now, what I have in mind is for it to follow this structure:

• Introduction;
• Writing a Quest;
• Participating in a Quest;
• Discussing Quests;
• Quest Lingo;
• History of Quests;
• The Boards and their Quest Culture;
• Original Quests:
  • Extended Quests:
    • List of old, relevant quests;
    • That went on for more than one thread.
  • One-shot Quests:
    • Iconic;
    • One-shot quests.
• Relevant Quests;
• External Links;

In Original Quests, some of the first few quests ever ran on /tg/ will be listed, up until 2009. In Relevant Quests, everything post-2010 that deserves mentioning will be listed. I'll need help with a bit of everything. I don't know what to put in sections 2, 3, History and Relevant Quests.
