Now that the game is out, should we create a tactics page for the warbands? GreySeerCriak (talk) 16:49, 6 August 2019 (UTC)

Add General Tactics page[edit]

I'm considering starting a General Tactics page for basic game mechanics and strategy. Should we separate this from the main Warcry entry?

I've added card pack pics, any future releases we know of with sections to fill in, I've added links to reference matériel, I've as below added tactics pages and links to them (not put in the info)

Remaining Faction Tactics[edit]

I've almost completed my tactics entries for the Warbands I'm familiar with. I don't mind helping with some of the other Warbands, but my experience with them is limited. Is anyone else planning on adding some other tactics pages? The other Warbands I plan to cover are Iron Golems, Nighthaunt, and Beasts of Chaos. I'm also picking up the Seraphon cards upon their release and will be getting a few games in with them soon so that'll be a near-future entry.

  • I have not played the game, but unable to leave things be and hope to start the conversation; I have been setting up tactics page and comment on some to the best of my ability. Stephenlucas600 (talk)

If people feel they can add tactics to the relevant pages and then make them discoverable to non-logged users once that is done :)

Monsters and Mercs[edit]

So I've added a Monsters and Mercs section and added some basic bits. Added formatting help for people wanting to edit or add stuff but feeling shy.

  • It looks good and I like the format, but I have two recommendations:
    • The general tactics, abilities and stats could be taken out of this page, taken to their tactics pages and write an overview of sorts here instead. This may reduce significantly the page size.
    • The monsters and/or the mercenaries could be lumped together by GA in dedicated tactics pages for that. After all, hey can be taken by anyone in their GA and may be more server friendly.

Of course, it all depends of the people's thoughts on the matter. It's just my opinion. Korvalus (talk) 20:25, 10 March 2020 (UTC)
