Background: Feytouched Pearl was a girl of meek temperament but dogged determination in the field of bureaucracy. Born of a particularly promiscuous raksha and bookish mother, she was always a little strange. Her father instilled in her a preternatural aptitude towards many things and a lack of long-term concentration. From the time she could speak she was already using double-talk, by the time she was three she could argue with an eloquence and reason that belied her age. She was always rather lithe and dexterous, yet never found an interest in the normal games and activities that children her age did. When boys were hitting each other with sticks, she was hitting the books. Her naturally low-key spirit, coupled with a sharp eye for detail and moé loli charms made her the darling of adults of all stripes. Except for her father, who left when she was 7, only to return for a night or two at the most odd times. Even so, she never seemed destined for anything great. She was a typically smart girl, in a typical law firm, doing typical first year work up until the Exaltation.
One night, an absolutely massive amount of legal work was piled upon her and her poor partners; the lesser known empires of Chow and Saotome were embroiled in a bitter series of disputes over tithes and other minor grievances. Their squabbling would unbalance the power structure of the region and ruin scores of delicate treaties and accords. It would be chaos. The associates stayed up for days to complete this, each one falling to fatigue and the byzantine language. But not Pearl. After 72 hours of sleeplessness, the world got dark. She could feel the essence draining from her body as her pen fell to the floor. She closed her eyes for what seemed like an eternity. When they opened, the pen was moving on it's own, as if possessed. Then her hands, then her eyes. Then the papers, which were now a pretty shade of silver and orbiting around her. The task was done, and Pearl felt as auspicious as the Solar eclipse.
Almost immediately after Exalting, she was given a small job in the Bureau of Humanity, given the skill of her work and the auspices of her Exaltation. She was paired up with a Sidereal named Righteous Vermilion Phoenix to shape her skills into something truly legendary. Now named Pearl Dragon, she seeks to create a synthesis of combat both in the courtroom and on the battlefield in reverence to Righteous Phoenix. They have been together for nearly a century, so close to almost be married.
Appearance: Pearl Dragon is a pale girl who looks to be a twentysomething. Her eyes are kaleidoscopic, acting as a mood ring, with a natural color of deep red. She has a boyish face and long unruly cherry blossom hair, marked by two large bangs. She is lithe yet surprisingly well-endowed, although you wouldn't know it based on how she normally dresses. Her attire is proper, yet always tousled and a little plain. She has a collection of fans and sashes that borders on the fetishistic.
