Introduction[edit]
I run this campaign for fa/tg/uys who are new to D&D 3.5e and have always wanted to play in a game yet lack the group and/or DM to do so. The campaign itself is a one-shot I shamelessly stole and modified from DnDOG, a play-by-post forum. It's usually very difficult to keep a game going on a forum; players tend to drop out, interest is lost, yadda yadda yadda. It's a slow death. Online gaming over MapTools or irc is not too different, but at least the break-up, if it happens, happens in real time and all at once. That's why I named the campaign what it is. It makes me feel clever. This will hopefully run you guys through all the basics and such for playing in a game. For those who are interested, I also run a solo version. The whole one-on-one thing works pretty well.

- Vespa - GMT -5; NEW!! Working in the mornings now so anything past 9 or 10pm EST is out, sadly. Is there any way to reschedule to earlier in the day, anywhere in the afternoons usually. Otherwise I may have to drop :/
- King - GMT -5; 7-10pm most days. whenever on some weekends.
- Tyrienous - GMT +10, Pretty much whenever, just give me a heads up and ill make time.
- EDDWardo - EST, anytime after 1:00, I'd like at least 1/2 week notice however.

Roll up your characters following these rules:
- Races allowed: Human, Dwarf, Gnome, Halfling, Elf, Half-elf, Half-orc
- Classes allowed: Barbarian, Bard, Cleric, Druid, Fighter, Monk, Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Sorcerer, Wizard
- Starting at level 1, using the array: 16, 14, 14, 12, 12, 10 OR with 32 point buy
- Hit Dice: Max HD + CON bonus per level
- Gold: 100gp to spend on mundane items

If you have trouble keeping track if you choose to do point buy, feel free to use the automatic calculator on Pathguy's 3.5e Character Generator. Filling out a character sheet your first time can be daunting, and if you need help, try to contact me or your other players; remember, just take it one step at a time. The easiest way I've seen to host sheets online is to sign up for a free account at Myth-Weavers.com and create a D&D 3.5e sheet. Don't forget to make it public! I've readied an example below.
