this always bothered me, what's that little thing on the end of the middle one's storm bolter???
- It's a speed-loader rail. The stormbolter has a big bulky box mag, so when it's time to slide in a new magazine, it slides in along the rail so that the ammo belt perfectly lines up with the intake ramp. You see it used a lot when Stormbolters are reloaded in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine. As for the box itself, I believe it's a targetter. -- Jaimas
- Judging from the build of the bolter itself, the red parts that the magazines are put into are part of the bolter itself, and cannot be removed. Maybe it's a mount for a chain weapon of sorts? Biggus Berrus 17:50, 30 October 2011 (UTC)
