Infantry

Infantry are soldiers or warriors who fight on foot. Technically it's the oldest type of soldier, but only really became a classification once someone devised cavalry in contrast. Infantry can range in quality from a mob of pitchfork armed peasants to elite heavily armed and armored soldiers and everything in between.
