NotAwesome.png This article is bad, and you should feel bad about it.

Chances are you are here because you're a clod and misspelled the word "rogue." No need to feel embarrassed, it's a common spelling error, a faux pas all too frequently committed on /tg/, in MMOs and RPGs, and even here in the search bar.

Fear the mutant...

Rouge is a type of powdered reagent primarily used by females; they are reported to apply it directly their cheeks with brushes during the course of some strange ritual, which always take place in secluded room with a mirror. These rituals are said to take upwards of an hour, but when they emerge they are transformed into hot chicks.

Rouge is also the name of an anthropomorphic bat who is a character from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. Needless to say, this makes her a furry, and thus the target of much disdain, if only on principle. Between her..."assets" and being, like, the only female character clearly of the age of consent, Rouge is the character within that franchise most subjected to Rule 34; with Sega's apparent blessing, as she is also the franchise's "unofficial" fapbait character. Our sources tell us she is a professional criminal and a Disneyfied kleptomaniac, which means she's an unrepentant thief, but she'll become a "good guy" unrepentant thief when a world-threatening peril shows up. Then, when the problem goes away, she becomes a regular unrepentant thief again.

Thus she is so roguish that many fans call all rogues by the general name "Rouge" as a sort of homage.

That is why they do it? Right?

... right? *BLAM* Wrong.
