Talk:1st Membranes
Since when the hell did psychic powers come with complete insanity in the WH40K-verse? I don't see the Eldar running around with a dozen mental disorders the way these guys do, and the Eldar have a lot of psykers.--70.118.122.118 04:33, 20 March 2013 (UTC)
The chaos gods thought it would be funny. --Boss Ballkrusha (talk) 04:36, 20 March 2013 (UTC)
Psychic powers sometimes come with insanity, mostly derived from either being cast out of society or being able to perceive the world differently. But, in the 1st Membranes there is a huge quantity of psykers, which means there will be some quantity of crazy. Problem is, crazy is infectious. Especially with seeing your best friend fail his psychic phenomena roll and accidentally summoning a daemon through his head, sending bits of ex-cranium and grey matter all over the mess, for the tenth time this week. You'd be a bit crazy after, if not before. Indonesian gentleman (talk) 05:52, 20 March 2013 (UTC)
Psi level psyker? Wouldn't that make him a blank? (look at http://warhammer40k.wikia.com/wiki/Psyker power grades)
From what I've read, not quite, but anyone who rates "Psi" is not a psyker, and is at least somewhat immune to psychic powers. So, it really doesn't make any sense in the story. --70.118.122.118 04:51, 25 March 2013 (UTC)
For the biomancer/medic, how does restoring wounds work with single-wound models?
- Say you lost 3 Guardsmen in a squad so that's three Wounds worth. After casting Rejuvenation you would roll the D3 to see how many Wounds (or Guardsmen, Sergeant, Heavy Weapons Teams) are healed. Heavy Weapons teams take two Wounds to fully heal, but they can be revived with one Wound. Remoon101 (talk) 14:24, 28 August 2013 (UTC)
- Sounds waaaaay overpowered to me... Anybody you attach to a squad with a "medic" in it then almost completely unkillable so long as the medic lives.
Only War[edit]
We should have something about actually playing these dudes. Is it possible to make a diverse full-psyker party? --Talon of Anathrax (talk) 14:21, 19 September 2015 (UTC)
