Talk:Adeptus Evangelion

From 1d4chan

Borderline isn't connected to Adeptus Evangelion and doesn't belong on this page. It is made by different people and is not endorsed or supported by the people working on AdEva. Make your own page with borderline info. It doesn't belong in here.

  • NO U. In respect to AE and BL, the two projects are related by drama. And 1d4chan is committed to recording all the crap (glorious or not) that /tg/ puts out. If you delete something and are saying to make it's own page DO IT YOURSELF, FAGGOT.
    • It is an alternate version of AdEva, and has quite a bit of relevance, regardless of whether you like it or not. Stop reverting legitimate information.
      • >related by drama What the fuck am I even reading. Also, since when is someone responsible for adding a page for someone's else info? Great argument.

AdEva Borderline Resolved.

If the AdEva guys want to create their own Wiki on their website, they are free to do that, but 1d4chan is not their pulpit. If you're going to claim that something has been "resolved" by adding in a stub page, that's fine, but removing it from the main page is also a no-go. You're probably the same person who downvoted the suptg Borderline thread... bringing it to over 60-some votes. If anything, this kind of drama makes Borderline even MORE relevant to include on the AdEva page.
And another thing, stop hiding behind a pseudonym and make an account, it's obviously just one person hammering to get Borderline off the radar. --Zecro 20:00, 10 March 2012 (UTC)
Don't demand that people register. Anonymous editing is allowed for a reason - IPs are still tracked if you're concerned about abuse, and being registered doesn't make you any better than an anonymous editor (on the other hand, if you're going to contribute to talk pages even unregistered users should sign their comments with the ~~~~, for readability's sake).
As I'm not familiar with the apparent drama that surrounds this issue, nor with the systems themselves, I can't make a judgement on how related they are. Now, what it sounds like is that there was some creative disagreement at some point, and some people either splintered off from the original group and made their own branch or showed up and figured they could do things better or some combination of the two. Whichever of these is the case, their development is obviously linked and the Borderline stuff sprang from the original AdEva material. It is appropriate that some mention of this is made in this article - we chronicle shit that happened on /tg/ and shit that /tg/ has done, after all. If they are similar enough there is no objective reason that the information about this Borderline version could not be part of the main article. If the information about this system were to be significantly expanded, it's conceivable that it would be worth splitting up the article for the different versions for usability's sake.
Please do not misunderstand me and assume I am making some judgement about which system is better or anything like that. I don't know enough about either of them to judge in the first place and even if I did I would keep my administrative mouth clean of such subjective opinions. I am clarifying purpose - this is the AdEva page and it is part of the history of that project that it splintered or whatever, and so we should record this. You may feel free to make it abundantly clear that there is bad blood over this and the "pure AdEva" guys are disdainful of this newfangled Borderline thing, but you should not sweep the whole thing under the rug. If people can't get the proper story of what went on when they come to investigate, we don't really have much point as a site. --Wikifag 23:16, 10 March 2012 (UTC)
You should probably just lock this. Just sayan'.

Version 3[edit]

BMJ posted a thread a few months ago stating a V3 was in the making and that beta testing was starting. Have there been any updates since? Has a release date been given?
