- Who of you here seriously thinks that Lifetakers are better than Heartrenders? Lifetakers might be able to Alpha Hurt and bail, but they won't kill a minor 5 Wound hero. Heartrenders probably will on their first turn. The Presence of rend as Standard, More attacks AND being more mobile than Lifetakers there is no reason to ever take Lifetakers over Heartrenders, as they are the same cost. - Laughing Tau
- Because Mathhammer puts The Lifetakers on top? Lifetakers can expect 6 Wounds vs 6+ and 4 Wounds against 5+, while Heartrenders only expect 2.5 Wounds against something with a 6+ and get worse after that "Alpha Strike"?. There's no point where the Heartrenders will pull ahead. Rend means nothing if you don't have enough swings to Wound something in the first place. ArchonRahal (talk)
Morathi and wounds[edit]
This page says that she can only take 3 wounds/rounds so she can't be killed in one round, but that's not correct. She can only be allocated 3 wounds, but she can take far more Damage than just 3. Failing 3 Damage 2 saves would kill the High Oracle form.
