Talk:Age of Sigmar/Tactics/Order/Kharadron Overlords

Does anyone think that all the weapon statlines written out in the middle of each paragraph is a bit jarring to read and this page could do with an 'Arsenal of the Kharadron Overlords' section or similar to just put them all in one place if we are going to keep them. Because equally I've already linked each warscroll so it's not like any given reader couldn't easily open them to see the statlines if they needed them.

This is not Edition 1.1 for sure

I think we all can agree that the Edition 1.1 was everything that was between the renaming of factions and the Sylvaneth Battletome, then Tzeentch AND Stormcast are "Edition 1.2", then KO where relelased and they jumped back to Edition 1.1?

Also, I think both Tzeentch and Stormacst Edition are actually 1.3, and every BT from Sylvaneth to Beastclaw Raiders are 1.2, given that they lack PtG points and, damn, even KO could be 1.4 given their painting and modelling guids inside the BT.

What you seem to be ignoring here is the use of wordplay. Fyreslayers can be considered gay in multiple senses. First, Jesus fuck they're all giant baras with hella bling and huge rippling muscles on display for all to see who ritually insert foreign objects into their bodies, it'd be an injustice not to comment on the hard gay potential of that shit especially when you compare it to the more subdued Unforged/WHFB Slayers. Second, they're arguably a victim of Games Workshop's recent annoying habit of overdetailed and sometimes downright ugly models that all look the same because they're made in a CAD application and then posed. This makes them gay in the usual 4chan "thing I don't like" sense. It's not a matter of "hurr durr gay," it's a matter of adding flavor that plays on the reader's existing knowledge. Fair enough, except we can do better than "totally gay". Saying that the models are well-sculpted and the theme of the faction is original by GW standards isn't funny, but it gives the reader a reason to play Kharadron Overlords without shitting on Fyreslayers and by extension the people who bought them. I'll admit I might have overreacted given your involvement in the Transformers edit war, which made me alert for tendencies to spew political horseshit while claiming it's the objective truth.
