Halfling Amazons[edit]

So, I don't agree entirely with Skadooshbag's removal of halflings from the "Possible Amazonian Races" segment, though I will admit the basic idea could be expressed better. Basically, halflings already make for terrible warriors in the conventional sense, but compensate in fighting in ways where their lack of size and strength is no longer a disadvantage - this means that halfling war doctrine already counters the -4 Str meme that is usually used in rebuttal to the existence of female warriors in general and Amazons in particular. Add in that the old Greyhawk Monster Manual entry for "Amazon" says that there are halfling amazons (alongside elven, dwarven and gnomish ones), and... well, it feels appropriate for me to keep halflings there, but I don't wanna be a dick and just undo Skadooshbag's edit. Opinions?--QuietBrowser (talk) 01:56, 31 August 2019 (UTC)

The thing is it's no longer just "being a dick" now that you have a proper context for re-including the info (e.g. "they already exist in this one setting, here's how to make it work in others"). I say go ahead. --2600:387:6:902:0:0:0:6 02:18, 31 August 2019 (UTC)

I was not aware that the Greyhawk MM mentioned Halfling Amazons, and will gladly walk away from this page if that tidbit is added to the section.Skadooshbag (talk) 14:14, 1 September 2019 (UTC)
