Fluffy bits[edit]

Christ, stop adding this random shit to the page. If you have anything to contribute to the Brotherhood of the Megalith project, either make a thread on /tg/ itself or post them in a thread if it already exists; do not just dump them on the wiki page. - Shock Mox 21:35, 27 May 2011 (UTC)

Or don't. Just carry on the conversation on the wiki article. - Shock Mox 02:23, 29 May 2011 (UTC)

Herpy Bit from the Fluffy bits section[edit]

THERE, I FIXED IT, NOW IT'S BETTER THAN BEFORE.
COME TO /tg/ MAKE A FOURTH THREAD ABOUT THEM AND DISCUSS YOUR IDEAS WITH OTHER PEOPLE INVOLVED IN THE PROJECT INSTEAD OF COMPLETELY IGNORING ALL THE WORK THAT HAS BEEN DONE SO FAR AND THAT YOU COULD FIND IN THE LINKS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE IF YOU WEREN'T SUCH AN OBNOXIOUS LAZY SUMMERFAG WHO DOESN'T KNOW SHIT ABOUT THE WAY /tg/ WORKS.
I MAD. BE ASHAMED.
oooookkkkaaaay.
I read the threads and like mine better tho.
Inuit theme=bad
Hunt a predator initiation=Space Wolves.
To be honest I would probably make a fourth thread to discuss but can't figure out /tg/

Right, there we go. Please continue any discussion here instead of on the article itself. Also sorry pal but you aren't everyone in the thread and its been agreed that they are a mixture of inuit/native american/cave men. - Shock Mox 02:33, 29 May 2011 (UTC)

Mad guy here. Most of the people who started it approved of those elements, and all those who continued the project beyond the first thread agreed. So I'd say that, yes, all these elements you mentioned (except maybe hunting a predator, we might be able to retcon that) pretty much define what the Brotherhood is. What you suggest simply doesn't have anything to do with what we developed so far, it's simply not the chapter that we created. It's ridiculously over-the top (seriously? Poisonous muskets even killier than a bolter, even though muskets can technically fire only one shot before getting reloaded? Marines BIGGER THAN DREADNOUGHTS?) and of course doesn't have any identifiable cultural reference or thematic justification beyond LET'S MAKE THEM HUGE AND BRUTAL. If you want something like this, there are some people that were interested in making an orky chapter. But that is not the Brotherhood of the Megalith. All we need is a few company names and a writefag to compile all the work that has been achieved. and maybe two or three more drawings.

I approve of standard Caveman Marines. Ragnasal 03:06, 29 May 2011 (UTC)

what does "standard caveman marines" mean?

Continuing the Brotherhood's background[edit]

Anyone would like to continue this chapter fluff? Unfortunately, contributions on it stopped few years ago, but I think they deserve more attention. If someone is motivated to help, please raise your hand.
