Needs those quotes about Taldeer torture so that anyone could see how really bad it is. Fatum 18:13, 16 October 2008 (UTC)

Yeah so far all we've got is a funny article and a handful of examples of why we hate Goto. The link to the interview, while validating the multilazer claim, doesn't really add to this page. Honestly it seems like Goto is a pretty nice guy, though I haven't actually read anything he's written. sheeshmode 12:38, 9 Dec 2013 (UTC)

Adding them now.--Newerfag (talk) 05:53, 9 December 2013 (UTC)

Is the throwing of the lictor really that bad? Space marines are ridiculously strong and when wearing terminator armour more so. I'm not entirely sure as I'm pretty sure games workshop never actually stated the strength go space marines. The real issue in that line though ( unless this particular lictor had already been injured) is how did the terminator armoured marine pick up a lictor without being sliced in half? His books contain plenty of juicy sexual Eldar torture scenes[edit]

I heard that he came up with slaanesh worshiping dark eldar, which after reading some ciaphius cain, sounds like a plausible misinterpretation a loyal servant of the emperor might make upon observing them. Is the context of the slaanesh worshiping elder he wrote allow for the misinterpretation?

No, the Craftworld Eldar are depicted as Slaanesh worshippers too, including the entire Ulthwe Seer Council and even Eldrad. There's also Lelith Hesperax offering up the soul of one of her victims to Slaanesh in the Eye of Terror (where she apparently lives now), the horrifically gory (and obviously non-canon) death of Taldeer on Lorn V, and much more. Admittedly, there are a few Dark Eldar who might want to serve Slaanesh (like in the Soul Drinkers series) in the hopes that She Who Thirsts will repay them with daemonic ascension, but that's considered aberrant even by their standards. It certainly doesn't explain why Eldrad would be a closet Slaanesh worshipper- he may be a dick, but he's not that kind of dick.--Newerfag 06:07, 9 January 2013 (UTC)
Almost forgot to put in a quote from said horrible death:

"Gabriel hastened over to the broken form of Taldeer, who was lying in a frozen pool of her own blood. Her eye cavities trickled with tissue and her abdomen was a shredded mess of flesh and shrapnel..." (this continues for several more pages) --Newerfag 06:26, 9 January 2013 (UTC)

Vidya is neverevar canon, to GW anyhow. Even if Relic's stuff takes more heed of the canon than Goto's smut... -- Yu-gi-oh ! (talk) 21:01, 4 February 2014 (UTC)
Explain why they gave an article in the Index Astartes about the Blood Ravens, then? Or put them in the Deathwatch RPG?--Newerfag (talk) 22:46, 4 February 2014 (UTC)
The chapter is real, the events themselves... not so much. Dawn of War contains to many fantastical, game-breaking scenarios to be reconciled with the main continuity. Relic have spent their 'creative licence' too, granted, not as badly as Goto. -- Asuryan (talk) 20:10, 4 January 2015 (UTC)
