Talk:Canon

I am not sure the drow example is considered the best example. In the 3.5 book "drow of the under dark" page 41 the change is clearly stated has happening in terms of how the drow interpret Lolth turning a drow into a drider. In the same book on page 18 turning into a drider could be the test of doubt, and not a failure at all. In 3rd edition drow clerics of Lolth being turned into driders keep there spell casting. Lolth also has a task force called "Hand of Vengeance", and one of the members is a drider. Info on the hand of vengeance can be found here: http://www.realmshelps.net/faerun/organizations/handofvengeance.shtml . Personally I don't know how canon the "hand of vengeance" is and I hate Jaggedra because drow society is supposed to be a darwinistic dog eats dog society, which is encouraged by Lolth and her interfering with this is really strange, then again her alignment is chaotic. Anyways, i think we should consider changing the edition shifting example.
