Talk:Castlevania
oh god I am so sorry, I had to do this ;_; I promised I'd move this shit out of the thread and onto here before deleting it... but I realize it's pretty terrible for the most part. Feel free to just delete it if it's really that bad. My work is done! I kept my promise! — Lord Licorice
Where's the "vampire killer"?
Relevancy[edit]
For fucks sake why is this even here.
- It's popular on /tg/ and has its own setting.
- Old /tg/ project. Also, https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/175822/castlevania-nocturne-tabletop --Thannak (talk) 01:54, 15 February 2019 (UTC)
Bloodstained page?[edit]
So, is there any particular reason not to do a larger page for Bloodstained, the spiritual successor to Castlevania, and link it from this page? I know there's a section on it in the Non-Canon Games part, but I feel like there's more to be said about it, especially since it's a good example of how Castlevania's unique blend of Dark Fantasy and Heroic Fantasy can be mined for homebrew settings, since it embraces "you are the heroes who must punch darkness in the balls and put it back in its tomb for a century!" over "you are random unimportant schmucks who are horribly screwed", compared to Ravenloft and Masque of the Red Death.--QuietBrowser (talk) 09:31, 28 April 2020 (UTC)
- If you feel like it, go ahead. Although I'll note that the "Aesthetic" section was inspired by that same fact. Saarlacfunkel (talk) 18:01, 28 April 2020 (UTC)
