I think the D&D entry is worth having.--Emerald Claw (talk) 22:45, 11 January 2018 (UTC)

Do I have to go over the whole "slippery slope" argument again? --Newerfag (talk) 22:55, 11 January 2018 (UTC)
Even though judging by the title this page certainly isn't about cutting page bloat, simply blamming it may be a bit drastic? Pilgrim of Terra (talk)
I think I can guess what that argument entails, but if you want to clarify just to be sure, then go ahead. If you guys want, we can make a 'new article' with a more narrow title that focuses solely on the Commoner-Cat D&D thing.--Emerald Claw (talk) 23:55, 12 January 2018 (UTC)
Seconded, with maybe the DF section as well. --72.89.211.145 01:03, 13 January 2018 (UTC)

I just recreated the article, cut down to its bullet points. Feel free to redelete or reexpand or whatever, just please keep the focus on actual, directly /tg/ relevant things, I beg of you. Saarlacfunkel (talk) 01:20, 13 January 2018 (UTC)

It was never /tg/ relevant save in the most shoehorned of ways, so don't even bother trying to connect it to DnD or DF. Give it up. --Newerfag (talk) 06:56, 13 January 2018 (UTC)
I'd say that an article on dealing with the mixture of real life cats and board games with lots of fiddly bits would be worth keeping on its own merit, just because the little bastards love to knock pieces around and can and will ruin any board setup if you leave the board for more than a few minutes. Anybody else agree, or am I talking out my ass here?Saarlacfunkel (talk) 09:00, 13 January 2018 (UTC)
If you have to ask, you already know the answer. --Newerfag (talk) 15:17, 13 January 2018 (UTC)
I suppose that's relevant. My cat allergy has resulted in me being diligent in trying to not be in the same area as them. So I don't really have first hand experience with that.--Emerald Claw (talk) 06:47, 14 January 2018 (UTC)
I still think the D&D thing is worth having somewhere on this wiki.--Emerald Claw (talk) 06:47, 14 January 2018 (UTC)
Trust me, it isn't relevant at all.--Newerfag (talk) 08:40, 14 January 2018 (UTC)
Trust me, it is relevant, it just isn't enough to support an article on its own, and the Warhammer stuff was just garbage.Saarlacfunkel (talk) 11:10, 14 January 2018 (UTC)
What in the name of the Webway is going on here....Pilgrim of Terra (talk)
Do you have a close enough understanding (based on what's here) to ask a more specific question?--Emerald Claw (talk) 18:24, 31 January 2018 (UTC)
Absolutely relevant. House cats being dangerously for their CR is common knowledge among 3E/PF fans, especially mechanically minded ones. --Agiletek (talk) 08:53, 12 January 2019 (UTC)
Honestly, cats appear like almost everywhere. I think it's pretty relevant to /tg/ Tyranid Memestealer (talk) 21:08, 20 May 2018 (UTC)

If we're looking for content that's /tg/ relevent, how about cats in mysticism? Cats as familiar, black cats as bad luck, cats in Egyptian myth, lion as a symbol of shit ton of things (courage, strength, pride) ect. Mythological felines like the Nekomata or Nemean Lion could also warrant a section. --Agiletek (talk) 08:53, 12 January 2019 (UTC)

While I don't give a shit about the page as it is now, I fail to see how it isn't relevant, mostly for the reasons you list here. The page could use a rewrite, but not deletion. -- Triacom (talk) 00:17, 13 January 2019 (UTC)

Got a start on that rewrite as we speak, trimmed most of the "obvious" fat. Next comes refomatting. --LGX-000 (talk) 13:24, 14 February 2019 (UTC)
