Questions[edit]
Mortia Weapons[edit]
- Mortia's are not listed as having any close combat weapons. Does this mean that they only have eviscerators with their hammer of wrath attacks? And then attack with regular s3 ap-? -Un'tan
- Yes. The original idea was for them to be a "half-naked cruise missile", so they're all about getting devastating charges, and using Hit and Run to get off more charges if necessary. -Sieger
- After seeing they had hit and run it made more sense to me and became sort of what I assumed was right. Though, 19 pts a piece for a potential single s6 ap2 attack seems a bit steep, at least hearing about it in concept. Maybe if they had higher initiative and a more sure escape (since their regular attacks doesn't matter much) or maybe the option for more than one hammer of wrath each time, sort of like how a chariot works. However, I honestly won't know until I have tried them out. I'll try to take the biker kamikaze gals out for a spin and see how they fair. -Un'tan
- The S6 AP2 replaces their normal Hammer of Wrath attack, so it hits automatically and at I10. Those girls can easily wipe a Terminator squad if they get a charge off (and because they're bikes, it's fairly easy for them to make charges). Let me know what you think after using them, I'm always looking to improve the codex. -Sieger
- Easily and easily, they do have to get a good enough charge off for enough models to get in base contact with the terminators. However, as said before I don't look down on them because what they do actually might be quite great, but I have to let some field testing decide what I ultimately think about them. And I will gladly provide feedback when I have tried them out. -Un'tan
Celestians[edit]
- Celestians cost nearly doubled what a battle sister costs, and has one more attack, ws and leadership. They also can take just about as many special weapons as the battle sisters can. Do they justify their cost? wouldn't it make sense if they costed a bit less for such small upgrades, or were able to take more specialized weapons? -Un'tan
- That's a typo, they used to all have relic armor, and it looks like I forgot to fix the "per model" cost when we switched them back to power armor. They're supposed to be 14 pts/model. -Sieger
- Alright, if they had 2+ armour I could see that cost being more validated. Very nice. -Un'tan
8th edition[edit]
Will anyone be making an 8th edition version of this codex? I really love the idea and I'm disappointed that one has not come out yet.--Tw6464 (talk) 18:40, 31 October 2017 (UTC)
Yeah, I'm down. I just figured everyone had lost interest since 8th edition came out. But I'll get to converting the rules over since you're interested. --User:Sieger (talk) 19:51, 31 October 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks man! I've been wanting Biker Sisters ever since I saw them in this codex!--Tw6464 (talk) 00:30, 1 November 2017 (UTC)
Alright, I finally got the rules part finished. Sorry it took forever, work and school were significantly restricting how much I could work on this until recently. I haven't made a page for it yet, but here's a link to the updated rules. I'll make an official page for it tomorrow. --User:Sieger (talk) 09:11, 1 January 2018 (UTC)
- hey no worries man. If it takes that long to get some quality homebrewed content, it takes that long! Well worth the wait! --Tw6464 (talk) 16:46, 2 January 2018 (UTC)
Alright, the page is up. Head over to Codex - Adeptus Ministorum /tg/ Edition for all future updates. --User:Sieger (talk) 00:11, 2 January 2018 (UTC)
