Chapter Tactics (Blood Angels)

• Furious Charge

• The Red Thirst:Each time a unit with The Red Thirst fails a morale or pinning test take a further morale test on the lowest available leadership value, if this second test is successful the unit counts as having failed the initial test as normal. If this second test is failed the first test counts as having been passed, in addition the entire unit gains the Rage and Fearless special rules for the duration of the game. A character with the Red Thirst Rule inside a unit, which gains Rage and Fearless in this way, also gains Rage and Fearless. A Fearless unit with this special rule gains Rage for the remainder of the game if it loses a round of close combat. A unit, which has gained the Rage special rule through this special rule, cannot take cover saves.

• Descent of Angels: Whenever a unit with this special rule arrives by Deep Strike using its jump pack, it does not scatter. In addition a unit which has this special rule may both run and shoot in the same turn it arrives by Deep Strike using its jump pack.

• Overcharged Engines: Rhinos, Razorbacks and Baal Predators; despite not having Chapter Tactics, in a Detachment/Formation with Chapter Tactics (Blood Angels) may Flat Out an additional 6".

• Relics of Baal: Models with Chapter Tactics (Blood Angels) have access to the Relics of Baal wargear list (found in the official Blood Angels Codex) rather than the Chapter Relics wargear list (found in the official Space Marines Codex).

• The following units cannot be included in a Detachment/Formation with Chapter Tactics (Blood Angels):

- Honour Guard
- Ironclad Dreadnoughts
- Venerable Dreadnoughts

• The following units (all of which can be found in the official codex - Blood Angels) may be included in a Detachment/Formation with Chapter Tactics (Blood Angels):

- Tycho the Lost the Fallen Star*
