Regarding the Banished, a lot of the units can be ported over from the Covenant codex so I'll leave that to you Derpysaurus. It'll be a while before I'm available to make the Banished codex. Banished Phantoms, Lichs, Wraiths etc. seem to have increased armor so those units can be ported over with a decrease to Movement but an increase to their save.--Cryptek Szerasp (talk) 00:44, 27 January 2018 (UTC)

As I have said during the summary. The Heavy Augmented Heavy Unggoy and Shade turrets are cannon to the Banished, with the former being the primary unit for Yayap and the latter being a power up for Yayap and a stationary building in the campaign. However, I do get your point on porting in too many Covenant units in this Codex. Derpysaurus

After watching a match playthrough as Yap Yap, I understand your point on Shade Turrets but not Augmented Heavy Unggoy. They look like the typical heavy grunt squad to me.--Cryptek Szerasp (talk) 07:25, 27 January 2018 (UTC)

  • From the descriptions of the Banished Unggoy Heavies, they were indeed augmented by machines from the Ark. How augmented I don't know. Derpysaurus

Judging by the models and art, they seem to just be wearing heavier armor than a typical Unggoy and have a broader build. Maybe represent this by giving them a 4+ save and strength 3. A considerable boost to survivability. Based on that, I'm removing regular Unggoy Heavies since those don't seem to appear in the Banished.--Cryptek Szerasp (talk) 19:10, 27 January 2018 (UTC)

Infusion Gel[edit]

Any ideas on how to represent the Infusion Gel? In 7th edition, I would just steal the Phosphex weapons from Warhammer 30k and remove Crawling Fire but 8th edition doesn't represent that.--Cryptek Szerasp (talk) 19:10, 27 January 2018 (UTC)

  • I was thinking of maybe making it similiar to a chem cannon but with an extra hit to the units defense as Infusion Gels are described as incredibly toxic and corrosive. Derpysaurus
