Talk:Dead Space

From 1d4chan

With the seizure of MegaUpload by the US, Dead Space's rulebook (as well as the books/resources of many other homebrew systems that were hosted on it) is now inaccessible. Is there an alternative provider we could switch to, either for the time being or indefinitely (depending on how MegaUpload's court case goes)? --

It will be a kangaroo court; you know that, I know that. (in case you don't know how fucked they are: American domestic law enforcement got cops in New Zealand to arrest German citizens. It already doesn't make sense.) Looks Mediafire still has testicles; many of the other file-locker services have been back-peddling like Catholic priests from Chris Hanson (i.e.: most are innocent, but worry they're gonna get demolished for what their coworkers have been up to). --NotBrandX 06:27, 4 February 2012 (UTC)

Now the Mediafire link is down, for some reason. Does anyone have the rulebook, still? --

Dead Space Game Article?[edit]

We have a Videogames category, and the Dead Space videogames have been a topic of discussion on /tg/, from the inevitable "Isaac Clarke/Brother Moons vs. 40K" threads to serious discussions on how to roleplay in the setting or just bring necromorphs over into other settings as threats. Should we have a page on the Dead Space games? I mean, it's pretty much the justification for us having pages on the likes of Dark Souls, Resident Evil or Silent Hill...--QuietBrowser (talk) 10:50, 28 July 2019 (UTC)

-I agree with this. Dead Space's Necromorphs could be used as inspiration for a fan Codex using inspiration from Tyranids/Genestealer Cults & Poxwalkers/Chaos Cults if we include those driven insane by the Marker. I've seen some great Slasher Necromorph conversions using a mixture of Poxwalker, Plaguebearer, Chaos Spawn, Tyranid, and Genestealer parts.
