Talk:Deathwing

From 1d4chan

Just to clarify my recent reversion in case it winds up in an argument: older (3rd-4th edition) codexes had Deathwing squad sizes set at five, it is now five minimum a maximum of ten. In all cases, a squad still requires a sergeant, so they would have twenty sergeants under either organisational scheme, so it seems dumb to restrict it to a fixed number, where it realistically could be anything in between due to the tolls of war losses and time it takes to train new members. Also, the article assumed full strength, so only gave a theoretical number, not an actual one and never claimed it to be so. Finally, the bit which trumps all is the fact that the codex clearly states that the true number is carefully guarded secret, which puts any organisational chart presented to us under suspicion. It may not be 235, it is probably less, it could be more, but the evidence no longer supports it being 120 either... Although the Deathwing Strike Force maxxes out at 123, nowhere does anything suggest it makes up the entirety of the company.--Dark Angel 2020 (talk) 05:38, 10 November 2015 (UTC)
