Talk:Eldar Craftworld Creation Tables

From 1d4chan

I think these tables could use a fair amount of work -- lots of them use non-round numbers (e.g. 1d15) and could benefit from getting kicked up to 1d10 or 1d100 and "weighted". --Not LongPoster Again 19:18, 27 October 2012 (BST)

  • I'll get to work on them at some point. Only thing: anybody know what the second to last table is for? It only says "aspect warriors table." Is that preferred aspect warriors of the Craftworld? --Dok 12/2/13
It is rolled on if the hero of the Craftworld turns out to be an Aspect Warrior. The "favored units" table already encompasses which aspects are preferred.
On reflection, it seems funny that the favored units table splits up the aspects but not, for example, the varieties of grav-tank available to the Craftworld -- not sure if that means the table needs to change, but it's worth considering. --Not LongPoster Again 19:21, 13 February 2013 (UTC)

I think the second table, about what kind of world they occupy, is slightly pointless. This is a CRAFTWORLD, what if you roll paradise? What then? It feels unnecessary.

  • Yeah, I'll remove it. Maiden world and paradise world are redundant, and, well, it is a Craftworld creation table; it really has nothing to do with Exodites. Dok (talk)

Additions[edit]

Do the tables seem a little bare to anyone? Looking them over, I was thinking of ways to improve on them, tell me what you think. Goals, Demeanor, Craft World Size, Relations with the other CraftWorlds and something special about the Craftworlders. That's my two cents on the matter.
