Talk:Eternity (Warhammer High)

Someone Else., I feel I should give my reasoning behind this edit. Eternity is good like all of your stories, but it seems far weaker then what you’ve done before. As an ending, it’s far too good. All Happy familes and whatnot. Jake being a perfect father and blahblahblah. It’s all rather insipid. And then we have the funeral scene. Unlike most of the story that scene has actual emotional content. It’s the only scene where something other than a boring clichéd happy ending takes place, and the story is richer for it. We can appreciate how lucky Jake and Venus are when we see what happens to the other major couple, that they are one of the few anybody was willing to do more than 'and everything's happy forever and ever' with, and that brings everything into perspective. And you seem not to want this, to willingly ruin what may be the best and most emotional part of your story, and for what? Does it disagree with you? Have you developed a hating for the best bit of your story?

Take it as you will, but I feel it should stay. Removing it weakens the emotional impact of your story, leaving it that much poorer, weaker. --202.126.206.157 09:04, 23 January 2013 (UTC)

You're damn right I hate it, because I never should have written it. And while yes, it's certainly the saddest part of the story, I hardly think it's the only emotional part. I've come to resent the damn thing, because of the trolls on /tg/ and the stubbornness of my fellow writers. Let me have the ending I wanted to make and not the ones others wanted me to make. nitpicking[edit]

Hey SE, I've long enjoyed the Warhammer High series. Just wanted to point out a small error: "Jacob" means something like "heel-grabber". The name that is usually translated as something like "angel-wrestler" is "Israel", Jacob's appellation. Just sayin'.--70.192.76.224 20:11, 6 August 2013 (UTC)

Yeah, that's what the Emperor was referring to when he said that the country that had Jacob's historical name was a warzone. Was it too overt? Someone else. (talk) 20:37, 8 September 2013 (UTC)

Occurred to Me[edit]

What ever ended up with Aaron Wabash from Kouthry? - Gundamboy

Oh, I just threw him in for a background character, I imagine he's fine. Someone else. (talk) 03:06, 21 September 2013 (UTC)
