hey wait we're going to be SERIOUS? shit HUGE 19:35, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
Nah, I saved some excellent screenshots about the background that I need to copy over. They are definitely not-serious. On the other hand, I'd like the article to be somewhat informative since I'll probably direct my players here. I think this article can be informative AND humourous. - Kasdaye 19:46, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, yeah, the "I'll do that thing with my tongue" bit was what I was referring to. It's all good. HUGE 04:06, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
Maybe it would be better to make two articles, one for the system and one for the fluff. This article is pretty big as it is and it's not even finished. -T
I'm adding a bit about Pluto to the Five Maidens section. 75.173.88.232 04:32, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
Maybe we can expand on the Yozis a little more? I've got a nice little something for the Ebon Dragon, at least...
- "One of the Primordials, the Dragon's Shadow said, 'I know! I'll invent the concept of treachery!' Then the Primordial Wars happened, and he said, 'In retrospect, perhaps I should've given that a tad more thought.'"
Just a thought: should Autochton/Alchemicals be given some more thought in the fluff and their own section since their new book has been out for a couple of months? With stuff like Autochtonia and Creation being completely shut off from each other and Alchemicals being the prototypes for most of the Exalted and a whole bunch of shit makes their info outdated.
- I added that, hope it makes sense. Tried to make it marginally amusing, but its fairly dry facts... not sure how to spice it up more than I did already. User: Webkilla:Webkilla 10.may 2010
anyone want to add the article on Jadeborn? aka the dwarves of Exalted? I can do it later if no one gets to it by then
- This article is definitely one of the longest I've seen, so I'm just wondering if it's appropriate to add a list of character sheets, the ones that I've seen floating around 1d4chan, to it somewhere, or create a new page for them and link it from here? I would appreciate any thoughts on this.

Bringing it here, just so as not to edit war. I admit to being prickly when someone says that people are wrong to complain about the well-documented problems with using a system of "build points" to create a character and then a completely different system of "experience points" to advance a character because such systems can be house ruled, since this wiki literally has an entire page devoted to invalidating that very claim. And also, being an arrogant shithead who's openly, rather than, as you seem to be, privately sneeringly contemptuous of his own userbase and audience is, if nothing else, awful business and even worse PR, which is probably why that person, after several well-documented high-profile failures within this edition, no longer works on it. Combined, I see no reason to leave your admitted "hot take" in the page. --SpectralTime (talk) 22:54, 11 October 2019 (UTC)
Agreed. Point buy is by no means a perfect way of doing things - but IMO it works well for the over-the-top superhero system that Exalted clearly wants to be. Also, "how hard can it be to house-rule an xp progression system" - I think whoever said this has never tried to GM an exalted game. Holy shit son... that would require a reworking of the whole character creation and growth system. You go have fun with that. (talk) 14:32, 12 October 2019 (GMT+1)
