Talk:Exorcists

Heh...do these guys count as Mary Sues? --Orion Nexus 23:22, 17 June 2012 (BST)

I don't see how. Yeah, they're fairly freaking powerful. But they actually work for this, they risk their souls in order to gain an advantage and suffer losses for it. They have double the normal number of scouts to off set the death toll.

They took part in Badab and the 13th Black Crusade, they're actually out there getting shit done. They arn't just posers with a habit of avoiding almost every major conflict in the last 10.000 years. And they don't have obsessive fan-boys singing about how awesome they are. --SkyDog 00:17 18/06/2012

We say these guys were made to mock Matt Ward's Grey Knight's codex, but they were around long before that book was written, should we will still have that comment?

Nah. There's better ways to word it that could be amusing and mocking good ol' matty boy. There's actually several things wrong with the article, like the Grey Knights only fighting daemons when they actually SPECIALIZE in fighting against daemons, but aren't exclusively used for just that purpose. In honesty, I like the Exorcists, they're a pretty cool force, an interesting idea, and their article here should be more than just some butthurt bawling from some neckbeard who got home after getting his ass kicked by someone using the One True Sue in his GK army and decided he was gonna show Matt Ward a thing or two by god-emperor. Challenge accepted, I'm gonna see what I can do. Creed of Heresy (talk) 12:52, 3 April 2013 (UTC)

So, are these guys psykers like the Grey Knights? If they're made from the same gene seed as the Grey Knights (either the Emperor's or Janus's) then the psyker trait should be common, if not universal. CobaltChaos 11:42 EST, 4/24/20

No because psyker isn't a GK geneseed trait like it is for Thousand Sons. They just recruit only psychic aspirants. --203.40.30.201 17:11, 24 April 2020 (UTC)
