Talk:Gothic War

So canonically, does Admiral Spire not exist? This mentions Admiral Ravensburg, but not Spire, which I thought was odd.
- He was invented specifically for the Battlefleet Gothic games, he doesn't exist outside of them. --Newerfag (talk) 00:47, 15 October 2019 (UTC)
- Makes sense, too bad though. With the whole "lost in the Warp since the Gothic War" thing and his rather independent mindset (willingness to ally with the Eldar and ability to make intelligent strategic decisions, as opposed to Imperial high command's usual mix of conceit, stupidity, and greed) he would have made an interesting character in Gathering Storm. Something like a fleet commander Guilliman could put in charge of a fleet he couldn't directly command.
- Which may have been why he was reused in the sequel, beyond the obvious advantage of continuity. Oh, and don't forget to sign your posts with four tildes at the end (~). --Newerfag (talk) 14:41, 15 October 2019 (UTC)
- I hope they canonize Spire, but they need to tone down his achievements a bit. He is kinda a Gary Stu. --Lord Of The Lemmings (talk) 15:40, 15 October 2019 (UTC)
