Shared Pages or Split?[edit]

So, there's a number of planes in the Great Beyond that share broad planar archetypes with the D&D cosmologies - Heaven to Celestia, the First World is Golarion's equivalent to the Plane of Faerie, etc. But should these planes share pages with their D&D counterparts? Or should they have their own pages, and add segments to each pages noting the ties and linking them together?--QuietBrowser (talk) 03:48, 4 June 2019 (UTC)

I had been filling them in as I got round to it. My primary thought was to avoid creating stub or repeated articles. Pathfinder even uses the names of D&D planes as synonyms in most cases (eg: Abaddon is also called Gehenna and Hades) so the line between what comes from D&D and what is an original Pathfinder concept is kind of difficult to discern. Certainly, Axis and Nirvana were different enough to warrant their own articles, but Pathfinder's "Hell" is almost literally a pre-reckoning Baator; they're so similar that even most of the Archdukes are the same! We could go down the route of making separate pages for all of the Great Beyond planes, and probably will do when I get the energy for it, but I don't want to simply copy-paste what has already been said on the D&D pages for those planes, or leave it as a tiny article that amounts to "Heaven is like Celestia but..." --Dark Angel 2020 (talk) 05:41, 4 June 2019 (UTC)
