The "not an army" was directly copied from a copypasta bandied about in the bulk of pre-End Times threads, the "play Fantasy" meme more specifically.

Oh I don't have a problem when stuff is trying to be funny, I have a problem when it's being deliberately innacurate, if you want to add back in that "not an army" bit feel free, but at least try to change it to something else other than saying he "beat" Archaon in a fight since Archaon had no idea what was going on until he was knocked down. Presumably if Grimgor didn't run away Archaon would have gotten back up and killed him and saying stuff like Grimgor slaughtered most of Crom's army, or that he badly wounded Crom and left just because his army ran away is just untrue. Same with saying he went on his own to Middenheim (where the battle actually took place since the goal was to kill Ulrik) and launched a flank attack into Archaon's forces before fighting his way to Archaon, through Archaon's best and beating him down in a duel.
