Talk:Important Astartes
From 1d4chan
I'm with Newerfag on this one. This page seems to be nothing but a list of names, which we already have templates for:
| Famous members of the Traitor Legions | |
|---|---|
| Originating from the Canon: |
Abaddon - Ahzek Ahriman - Argel Tal - Cypher - Doomrider Eidolon - Erebus - Fabius Bile - Haarken Worldclaimer - Honsou Iskandar Khayon - Kharn - Kor Phaeron - Lheorvine Ukris - Lucius Lugft Huron - Luther - Madox - Necrosius the Undying - Sevatar Shon'tu - Svane Vulfbad - Talos - Telemachon Lyras - Typhus - Ygethmor - Zhufor |
| Originating from the games: |
Araghast the Pillager - Azariah Kyras - Bale - Crull - Eliphas The Inheritor Firaeveus Carron - Kain - Nemeroth - Neroth - Sindri Myr - Varius |
So if we have notably "Important Astartes", just make a page for them and add it to the template.
Even if this page becomes "more" than just a list and starts adding details, where is the relevance? Compare to other list-like pages such as Traitor Legion Loyalists or Knights-Errant which at least have a suitably different context worthy of discussion, rather than listing characters based on generalised relevance to warhammer. --Dark Angel 2020 (talk) 06:20, 1 October 2016 (UTC)
- Yeah this isn't going to work as a page. However, making a category for all special characters in 40k and adding that category to the various templates could. - Biggus Berrus (talk) 13:37, 1 October 2016 (UTC)
