Merge with Gork article(?)[edit]

Perhaps we should merge Gork and Mork's pages into one article, since the twin gods are pretty much taken as a package together and most of the lore about them deals with both of them together. - Alorend

I think the fact that they have two separate pages is done on purpose as a joke (evidenced how they are copies of each other despite the "not to be confused with" disclaimer that links to the other). And a pretty funny one, in my opinion. TiamatRoar (talk) 23:20, 27 January 2014 (UTC)
Yes. It used to be a pair of #REDIRECT pages that pointed at each other, and the redirect would fail on whichever page you didn't aim for, so if you were looking for 'Mork' you'd get "tried to send you to [[Gork]] but failed." This was also a good joke, but someone got upset about it looking broken even intentionally. Don't be the return of that guy. --NotBrandX (talk) 05:53, 28 January 2014 (UTC)
Hi, "that guy" here. The error message you mention may have been given in a previous version of the wiki software, but in the present version (as of November 2013, when I made the change), you would see the angled arrow pointing to Gork, and nothing else -- the content (what little there was) was hidden. Maybe we (you and I) don't need to be told who or what Gork and Mork are, but this is almost certainly not true of all visitors. Jokes are all well and good, but not at the cost of comprehension. I removed the redirect to expose the content. In retrospect, I should have added something to preserve the essence of the joke, but 82.26.20.26's edit accomplished that nicely (I think) with the "disambiguation" text.
I had considered redirecting both Gork and Mork to a single "Ork Gods" article which would have more information on the history (both in- and out-of-universe), legends, worship, etc. of Gork and Mork. It might be worthwhile to create that article, leave Gork and Mork linking to each other as they do now, and then also have them link to the common article. We could also (instead) make a "Template:OrkGods" with that content and then transclude it in both articles -- that way, the content in the two articles stays mirrored with the exception of the "not to be confused with" text at the top. --Not LongPoster Again (talk) 06:49, 29 January 2014 (UTC)

What if Gork and Mork are really respectively Khorne and Tzeench in disguise or something?[edit]

Think about it. Mork is cunning and stuff, like Tzeench. GOrk is, well, Gork.134.129.58.170 05:11, 5 October 2018 (UTC)

I thought about it, and that's absolutely ridiculous. --Newerfag (talk) 06:35, 5 October 2018 (UTC)
Absolutely ridiculous is the standard for Orks. --2001:8003:3895:3A00:851F:6487:9E4E:81F7 06:45, 5 October 2018 (UTC)
But not for Chaos. --Newerfag (talk) 06:47, 5 October 2018 (UTC)
Really? "absolutely ridiculous" isn't the standard for a faction defined by insanity and madness?134.129.100.69 03:09, 6 October 2018 (UTC)
The Chaos brand of insanity and madness exists in a completely different context from the Orks. You're ultimately comparing "take over the universe with respective corrupted aspect of humanity" apples to "defective literal warmachines that just wanna fight forever" oranges. --45.18.185.176 10:21, 6 October 2018 (UTC)
