Talk:Ogre (Wargame)
The old microgame GEV is full of CREEEEEED!/Just As Planned levels of dickery when one player camps a hidden Ogre Mk. 3 or an artillery detachment under several infantry counters guarding his command post during setup (exacerbated when playing with the presence of alcohol), and thus lures the opposing player chasing his Command Post/GEV wing into a trap, revealing a counterattack that smashes pretty much anything (frequently including other Ogres) flat and resulting in massive amounts of RAGE. The Build Your Own Ogre page also presents opportunities to create epic levels of rage and/or fail, depending on how creative your opponent is vs. his level of ability to effectively "slap whatever the hell fits on this thing" within the Ciscos cost required.
An experience with the pocket microgame may well be where CREEEEED! initially comes from--hiding an Ogre cybertank under some dudes in powersuits is about like hiding a Warhound Titan or three behind a pebble.
