The other wikis state that the actual birth of slaanesh not only happened about the same time as the end the age of strife (around M30), but helped end it, via calming down the warp and drastically reducing warps storms that popped up all the time. So I am pretty sure this page is wrong. I am not sure what else (if anything) is wrong it though. Perhaps a person that contributed got confused, as the events that led up to the birth of slaanesh (mainly eldar orgies) contributed to the age of strife.
- It's a little more complicated than that. The massive Warp storms of the Age of Strife were caused by the impending birth of Slaanesh. Think of them as labor pains. Once Slaanesh was finally "born", there was a massive psychic explosion, which killed most of the Eldar, countless psykers across the galaxy, and ripped the universe a new one (the Eye of Terror). At the same time, this basically snuffed out most of the other Warp storms, ending the Age of Strife by allowing the Emperor to launch the Great Crusade.--69.125.57.117 21:09, 9 August 2013 (UTC)
- The Ogryn page however still implies the actual birth of slaanesh caused the Age of Strife even though slaanesh's actual birth pretty much ended it. -
