Whats the source (army books, rpg books?) for the current knowledge on the qorl?
I too would like to know what Derpysaurus's source is for this material. Much of it seems rather dubious.
- For the flags, I created it for the fun of it. The Q'Orl flag is actually a silhouette of the actual Q'Orl Queen which I drew in MS Paint to my best of my ability (I believe it came from Xenology). For the Fra'al, it was largely independent due to how sparse the Fra'al is in terms of cannon images, so I went the Drawfag's route similiar to the Nicassar pages. Anyways, if you are concerned that these images may be mistaken for 'cannon', I have already put a thumbnail under the image to confirm that these are fan-visualization on what they would look like. IF you want to feature your own artwork in the article then I would argue that it should go in a separate images section at the end of the article, as is usually the case for fan art around here. While it's great that you created this on your own, we have no reason to believe that the Q'Orl (or the Fra'al, or any number of other races) even have or care about such things as a flag. It would be one thing to feature a fan-drawn Cadian guardsman in an article about Cadian guardsmen, but this is not that. Also, you do know that the proper spelling is canon, I hope? --This unsigned comment was made by Cavgunner (talk). Four tildes, ya jackasses.
- I would not mind a gallery for fan images. However, creating a entire gallery section for one image (for now at least) is jarring to say the least. If we want to create a fan image gallery, we should need to find a couple of likeminded fan images (referenced by the original artist of course) to make it feel like an actual gallery. Likewise, whilst it is true that some fan images usually go in their separate gallery, it is not true for all fan art as I have previously stated (just look at the Felinid and Nicassar pages and the amount of fanart they have in contrast to the very sparse fluff they actually have). For the flags, I have always considered them as a fun but nonetheless, temporary placeholders, I am right now contemplating on using the actual silhouette of the Q'Orl Queen from Xenology as the iconographical representation whilst I will be using the Fra'al Battleship for the Fra'al respectively. But I think the customized flags should stay for now, until I finish editing the canon images. And yes, I do know how to spell canon, you do know that accidental typos exist right? - Ergo. Here is the silhouette which will replace the fan flag for the Q'Orl.
- Whilst this is the Fra'als Battleship that would replace the Fra'al flag.
