Talk:Scrollhammer: Falmer

Formatted that for you. Hopefully that should allow you to edit the page more easily. If not, well, then you can always just reload the older version of the page.

And while I'm at it; two things that I noticed that were missing:

  • You Included 'Trappers' on the ary overview list, but there weren't any rules for them
  • The rules for Giant Frostbite Spider mounts are missing

>That feel when the rough draft of the Falmer codex is already more balanced and internally consistant the the House Dagoth codex

This army list is already looking pretty cool. Also, you might want to reconsider making it a mini codex. Not counting SC's, this already has as many unit types as House Dagoth; and there's probably room for more. Well, anyways, good luck with this. --Dagoth Guy 18:53, 5 December 2012 (UTC)

Yeah, I might make it a full fledged army list. I really want to expand on the character of the Falmer. I'll probably work on this over Christmas Break, and if a Falmer expansion of Skyrim appears later, I'll add stuff to reflect it. The rules aren't complete right now, they're just in alpha stage. But thanks for formatting. Giant Spider mounts and Trappers will be in, mind you. --Lolpwnt 17:42, 14 December 2012 (UTC)

I've had this army book fully functioning for several weeks now. But I think it needs a bit more. Needs fluff, obviously, but I think it could also use some special characters. Any ideas, besides Arch-Curate Vyrthur? Should I write lore to expand on something that Bethesda might not ever expand upon? If I were to do that, I would obviously want to have it be reviewed by you guys and by Alpharius, I don't want to pull a Mat Ward and turn a cool faction into lore-desecrating Mary Sues. --Lolpwnt 06:45, 14 February 2013 (UTC)

You might be able to refluff something from tES Travels: Dawnstar. I don't actually know much about that sub-series, but the Ice Tribes supposedly bear a strong resemblance to the Falmer, so it probably wouldn't be unreasonable to take something from them. I think that Gehenoth thing could work as a special character. --Dagoth Guy 00:35, 15 February 2013 (UTC)

I don't know how to work in the Ice Tribes, or the Rieklings for that matter. Are they actually Falmer descendants? I thought it was just speculation, both in and out of universe. But the Gehenoth would definitely be a cool unit, maybe I should add it.--Lolpwnt 01:15, 15 February 2013 (UTC)

It's put together. The Daedra update will be my next project.--Lolpwnt 03:07, 15 February 2013 (UTC)

Rieklings are almost definately just snow goblins (probably), but the Ice Tribes might actually be Falmer. They appeared once in Dawnstar and again in Shadowkey with absolutely no explanation either time, but in the first case you find them living in an underground cave complex and in the second inside of a glacier, so it would seem that they have the exact same habitat as the Falmer. This, along with that whole "reclusive pointy-eared guys that live in the frozen north and want to kill everyone" thing leads some people to suspect that they and the Falmer are one and the same. But anyways, yeah, you did a nice job with this codex. Good luck with the Daedra update. --Dagoth Guy 15:03, 15 February 2013 (UTC)
