Talk:Scrollhammer Rulebook

From 1d4chan

The current army-relations-chart is kind of hard on the eye to look at (Not to mention slightly confusing with the acronyms). Threw together a basic chart to replace it. Should be fairly simple to change any mistakes with Photoshop or whatever also.

Thanks a lot for making that. I was having trouble putting an allies chart together, so I typed one up using the wiki tools, and managed to make one just as bad as the one in the 40k rulebook. Thanks for making a better one. I'll take a look, see if its accurate, put it up tomorrow. Or you can if you want.

Edit: Also, I'm sorry if it wasn't clear enough in the rules, but EACH Great House, as well as Nerevarine, has a separate alliance profile. That is why they appear to be able to ally with the same force in my chart; not because Hlaalu can ally with Hlaalu or Redoran with Redoran, but because Hlaalu can ally with Nerevarine and Redoran can ally with Indoril(as examples). The reason why I'm bringing this up is that your chart can have Nerevarine, Hlaalu and Telvanni ally as if they were separate army lists, but Redoran, Indoril and Dres cannot ally among themselves, even though they would lore-wise probably ally with one another long before with anyone else.

Alright, I believe I understand. Forces that were listed as x/y/z cannot ally among eachother, though G1 can ally G2, and so on. Lemme know if / when this chart is correct.

Alliance Chart
Ner Ind Hla Red Dre Tel
Ner _ A A A A B
Ind A _ A X X B
Hla A A _ A A B
Red A X A _ X B
Dre A X A X _ B
Tel B B B B B _

Hla A A _ A A B
Red A A A _ A B
Dre A A A A _ B
Tel A B B B B _

This is what I would prefer. I didn't have it exactly like this before, but I've changed it now: I think the Nerevarine, as a single allied model, should be a trusted ally with the Telvanni. After all, he is their Hortator, even if he had to beat them into submission to give them that rank.
