"I'm not trying to start a flame war"
...he said, while typing paragraphs in the edit summary after responses to him completely ignoring the fact that no one has to downplay or condone the horrors of Ottoman slavery to point out that it didn't breed and justify centuries of systemic, institutionalized racism against white people the way chattel slavery did for black people... and more or less inserting inflammatory statements in the article to begin with.
It's categorical whataboutism, and yes I'm going to keep using that - and not just because an article on this wiki is literally the last place to die on that hill. As expected, claiming to not be white and "not /pol/" does not change the fact such a stance is not only fundamentally ill-informed and uneducated (because lol assuming complete unawareness of 'disingenuous solidarity' and antiblackness from nonwhites, to start), but built and predicated on deflecting away from chattel slavery's realities (as if the first owner of a hereditary slave supposedly being black is somehow conclusive proof against the "black inferiority" narratives that were used to justify enslaving them). It's a tactic and form of propoganda often used by some racists and racist sympathizers who, Complete and Utter Surprise, aren't always white right-wingers.
It wouldn't be the first time someone pushed a personal agenda under the brand of Truth and Facts™, and it's not surprising at all, all things considered, but I feel obligated to make it know that you should cut that shit out. Considering you've been ridiculously argumentative to the point of temporary ban over even "smaller" issues, I'm compelled to point out the flaws in this reasoning and get ahead of this before any more bad faith arguments occur. --LGX-000 (talk) 18:44, 26 May 2019 (UTC)
