The Soul Drinkers Are Alpha Legion!

No, I don't even mean this as a joke. The Soul Drinkers are really descended from Alpharius/Omegon!

In the book 'Phalanx,' they are revealed to not be descended from Rogal Dorn. But they exemplify all the best traits about the Hydra Legion; they are secretive, stealthy, cunning, strategic, and they have a total disregard for authority.

Also, like the pre-Heresy Alpha Legion, they are not loyal to the Emperor per se but instead are loyal to the ideals of the Emperor.

Anybody else see this?

I could see that, generally people suspect them to be descended from the Iron Warriors based on their personalities and views, but I think you're right in that they're more similar to the Alpha Legion than any other Legion. -- Triacom (talk) 05:18, 18 June 2019 (UTC)

ps. Iron Warriors are awesome but I think they need to bring these guys back as Alpha Legion. At least do one more trilogy.
