About deletion[edit]
It's just something that was awesome on /tg/ that we decided to save for working on later. Might be running a quest on it, or maybe it's just neat and should be saved for posterity. Will finish it off tomorrow.--Shadowclasper (talk) 00:26, 13 November 2013 (CST)
- If you wished to do that, you could have just referred to the thread itself. There is no need to waste bandwidth on an unnecessary (and unwanted) page because someone thought it was neat.--Newerfag (talk) 06:16, 13 November 2013 (UTC)
- Alright, well let me go through and collect all the stuff I put up then. Might as well save it for posterity personally. Sorry for the trouble. --Shadowclasper (talk) 00:31, 13 November 2013 (CST)
- The entire reason that anything gets put up on this wiki is that someone thinks it's neat! Just because you (Newerfag, not Shadowclasper) don't care doesn't mean nobody else does. It is archived on sup/tg/, but archives aren't entirely stable, and it's not a bad thing to put it here. (Certainly, it's not good to include excessive articles about things that aren't /tg/ related, but the subject of this article was created on /tg/, which is good enough for me.) --Not LongPoster Again (talk) 06:47, 13 November 2013 (UTC)
- Point taken. That said, it's always a good idea to ask yourself a question: "If this might not actually end up being used for anything, what's the point of putting it here in the first place?" Call me excessively conservative, but I fail to see the need for a page which describes a setting that has not even been implemented anywhere yet.--Newerfag (talk) 07:07, 13 November 2013 (UTC)
- Personally I think there's tons of stuff on here that never really gets used for anything, but people find them by searching through the threads on homebrews and such, and then they find cool stuff, and then they incorporate it into their own things. Just because /tg/ at large isn't going to use it for getting shit done, doesn't mean one of the users here isn't. --Shadowclasper (talk) 01:54, 13 November 2013 (CST)
