Polite discourse on the future of the wiki[edit]

Would the lot of you mind cooling things down for a week or two? At the rate you're going at, you'll turn into the new Knights Inductor. They have no surviving enemies, guard some station in the ass end of nowhere, and have been cut off from the Imperium for fuck knows how long- sound familiar to you? They aren't the Viking Marines- they're the Shut-In Marines, And no amount of Norse-sounding names will change that fact. Plus, why haven't the Mechanicus heard of this big cache of archaeotech ripe for the taking? They should be all over it by now, and if the Soul Drinkers are any indication they won't give a shit about prior claims.

Besides, there's no fewer than 4 different ocean-themed Chapters now: this one, Abyssal Jaws, Deep Ones, and Black Locks. Did you ever stop to think that it might be a bit much?

If nothing else, try letting in some outside criticism. 80% of your threads are composed of namefags circlejerking over each other's work, and that NEVER ENDS WELL. --Newerfag (talk) 22:18, 24 October 2013 (UTC)

How is this even Viking Themed? They have names that sound mildly Norse, and beyond that they seem more like a rip-off of Moby Dick, sorry, that might have been harsh, but this page got me really excited when I found it, and reading through, it just seems ... Underwhelming. - Newestfag

Whatever - Anonymous[edit]

So you can't even be bothered to address a few basic criticisms and just assume that everyone who doesn't think it's awesome is trolling or a shitposter? That's not how things work here, and all it does is make you look like a dick.--128.164.71.176 17:49, 28 October 2013 (UTC)

Don't die from shock[edit]

Addressing concerns of over wikification I have summarised everything. Don't freak out and hit the immediate revert, my Kraken bro's, all our info still exists on the linked wiki Star Krakens (legacy). Think of this as a brochure to lure people in, and once they're addicted to our salty Kraken lore we hit them with the big wiki and our $4.99 a month membership fee, by which I mean friendship.

Looks much better now. --Newerfag (talk) 16:15, 29 October 2013 (UTC)
