Talk:That guy
I don't see why rules lawyers are being called That Guy on the rules lawyers page, rules lawyers know the rules inside and out of any book they can get their hands on. That Guy, according to the that That Guy page, doesn't know the rules. Is That Guy actually just someone that is intolerable in a gaming group regardless of the actual reason?
- A Rules Lawyer doesn't just know the rules, they beat everyone else over the head with the rules. And it is one way to be That Guy. --Furore23 23:37, 28 October 2012 (UTC)
Regarding the crossed out portion near the end, just wanted to point out that molecules with covalent bonds can dissolve in water... Ionic bonds will dissolve more readily but quantities of covalently bonded compounds may dissolve by splitting into smaller subdivisions per molecule of water.
- You don't ever ever ever break any bonds to dissolve covalent molecules, they go into the water completely intact and they come out of it intact. I have removed the offending section because it was making my eyes bleed.
Making not painting more That Guyish[edit]
The IP had something of a point. The "That Guy either doesn't paint his models or paints them too much." sentence could be phrased better, because plenty of not-"That Guys" don't for valid reasons. What's the best/worst way to be an asshole about not painting your miniatures? My first idea is to change it to "That Guy doesn't just not paint his miniatures, he actively insults you for doing so. That, or he paints them too much and insults your paint job." Is that good enough? Saarlacfunkel (talk) 05:21, 20 June 2019 (UTC)
