Neat stuff[edit]

Station terminology[edit]

"Astrarium" is the basic name for any space habitat that is largely static. Patterned after words like aquarium and terrarium. There are several types of these but the time being I've only though about the ones that require things like artificial gravity or much in the way of fancy engineering.

Nimbus Astrarium - O'Neill Cylinder (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/O%27Neill_cylinder). One of the Etymologies of O'Neill means "cloud" and these type of space colonies can be large enough to have their own small weather systems.

Rota Astrarium - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rotating_wheel_space_station

Orbis Astrarium - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernal_sphere

Torus Astraium - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stanford_torus

Capsula Astraium - out current generation of space station like the ISS and Mir.

Contributions[edit]

It's not made clear on the page; is anyone free to contribute to this project providing they don't violate earlier established canon?

Yes. If you have ideas or plans, share them with the crew in the regular /tg/ threads and then throw them on the wiki. We need new anons to take over abandoned Legions, share ideas and add new races, IA/IG formations etc.

Will do! -Anon

Added a bunch of Yaotl stuff as discussed in the thread. Merry Sanguinius, Hektor Heresy! -Anon

Added more Yaotl stuff, so people can use them in their own work if they want. Didn't ask anyone first though, but seeing as they're not really referenced anywhere I figured it'll be alright. -Anon

Hi Anon, I saw your updates! If you'd like to get more in the loop with the other contributors, just hit the talk button in my signature and drop me a line. --Lumey (talk) 00:37, 23 May 2016 (UTC)

Soooo I can't find any "regular /tg/ threads" on /tg/, if I have some ideas should I just throw them together and put them up on the wiki to see the reactions, or what?

Pro- or Anti-Psyker Status

Legion's Perspective on the Emperor/Perspective on their Primarch

Thirty Primarchs?[edit]

Why do so many of the Primarchs' pages say 'of the thirty primarchs' or something along those lines? Were there originally plans for there to be 30 in the /tg/ Heresy?

Those were from earlier drafts when there were 30 Primarchs on the table. Since then the number has been cut down to 20 in interests of streamlining. If you have any further thoughts, this is the main forum the team uses. http://hektor-heresy.forumotion.co.uk/

So, in that case, we should find all mention of there being 30 Primarchs and edit those?¨

Seems logical, since they're no longer a thing. --StargateNerd (talk) 21:30, 14 September 2015 (UTC)

Roman Albrecht, Thomas Gaudin, Kranios the Destroyer[edit]

are they still part of the project yes or no

Yes. One is still active (Roman Albrecht), the other 2 are now warbands, or will be warbands once relevant anons get their legions sorted out, specifically filling out the "successors" sections of their respective legion pages. - ProjectAnon

Thanks Anon

Wait a minute[edit]

there are no tyranids in the /tg/ heresy???--101.103.22.246 13:28, 24 July 2017 (UTC)

That's because we never got to that point in the timeline. They will show up sooner or later but I'm not exactly up to date on things. --RAWK LAWBSTAR (talk) 04:37, 26 July 2017 (UTC)

Is this kill?[edit]

Is this project still active, or dead in the water?

And if it's still afloat, can anyone tell me why Starikov was switched out for Salazar?

- Sev

-yes the project is dead

-about starikov my guess is that varies annons have taken him under there wing and worked on him or the creator has chosen to rewrite him complety

The project has been on a long hiatus but some things get done from time to time. After the core narrative on the Hektor Heresy got hammered out, there was a sense of semi-completion and a lot of folks who had been contributing felt like they could let the thing rest until someone else wanted to do something with it. re: Starikov/Salazar, Uriel had been a problem character for a very long time and several different drafts went around. You can find some of them in the History of the Uriel Starikov page. During that redrafting phase, it was suggested that the full-on spygames thing didn't make the most sense for a Primarch and was very hard to differentiate from the Iron Rangers. In addition, having Alexandri of Rosskar as 9000% Slav and another Russkie Primarch felt a little off. Without getting into too much of the arguments and drama, the outcome was switching to Uriel Salazar. Unfortunately, Salazar came in so late that not much was done before the main narrative got done and the project went on hiatus. Lumey (talk) 03:36, 6 March 2018 (UTC)
Oh, and anyone wanting to hassle people who wrote /tg/ Heresy type things could maybe try finding us on Discord. Lumey (talk) 03:40, 6 March 2018 (UTC)
